Officials at the Buali Sina Balkhi Regional Hospital said the body of a 25 old woman and five injured people had been taken to the hospital.
A woman was killed and five others, including a child, were injured in a bomb blast in Mazar-e-Sharif this evening.
A spokesman for the Balkh police chief, Adil Shah Adil, said the blast was caused by a car bomb planted near the Sina Stadium in Mazar-e-Sharif's first constituency.
He added that the blast occurred when a security vehicle was passing by.
But officials at the Buali Sina Balkhi Regional Hospital said the body of a seven-year-old woman and five injured people had been taken to the hospital.
Ghausuddin Anwari, head of the Buali Sina Balkhi Hospital, said the condition of the three injured was critical and that a child's hand had been amputated.
Meanwhile, a National Directorate of Security (NDS) commander and eight of his soldiers were wounded and another was killed in a suicide attack in Balkh's Dehdadi district on Saturday.
