The New York Times published a report based on remarks by US and pro-US officials, saying "the Iranian leader has now refrained from any confrontation or retaliation with the United States and has only allowed cyber attacks to escalate."
According to the report, four journalists in the newspaper wrote that Iran was "concerned" about possible US and Israeli military strikes.
The New York Times quoted its sources in the report as saying that Iran also launched a number of programs last year to influence the US election, including attacks on ships in the Persian Gulf and oil reserves in the Middle East. The attack has plotted to hurt the US economy in the wake of Donald Trump's re-election.
According to the report, Iran has concluded in its calculations that the Corona epidemic has had no effect on the attack on oil reserves in the wake of the global economic crisis.
Mr Salami, meanwhile, warned the United States that no US troops had been "killed" in the Iranian attack on the Ain al-Assad military base in Iraq.
The New York Times quoted senior US officials and US coalition leaders as saying, "Iranian leaders are secretly assuming that the United States and Israel are behind Iran's latest attacks."
