Acting Defense Minister Mullah Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid says he is trying to build an independent air force in a country that does not need the help of any country.
Mujahid said in a meeting with airport staff yesterday that the air force would be created without the need for foreign aid, especially from the United States, India, and Pakistan.
"We are building an air force that does not need the help of the United States, India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, or Tajikistan," Mujahid said.
A number of media users have released a video claiming that some of the country's military equipment is being shipped to Pakistan.
However, the Interior Ministry said that the Islamic Emirate does not allow anyone to take out even a single bullet from the country.
Interior Ministry spokesman Saeed Khosti said: "The smuggling of military equipment into Pakistan was completely denied. "No one is allowed to do that."
At the same time, some citizens consider the transfer of military equipment to Pakistan as a national betrayal and call on the government to stop this process.
"Smuggling of military tanks should not be stopped," said Shakur Shah, a Kabul resident. This is the property of the nation. "
Hamid, another Kabul resident, said: "It is the duty of the government to prevent the sending of military equipment abroad."
Earlier, officials from the Islamic Emirate said they would build 100,000 troops in the country, and the acting foreign minister reiterated that Afghanistan needed a smaller army.
