Forty Prophetic Hadiths

 

Dear brothers, there are many rewards for memorizing forty hadiths in the blessed hadiths of the Prophet (PBUH). Please memorize the following forty hadiths and achieve success in both worlds.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

مَن حَِفَظ َعَلي ا ُمُتِي اَربَِعينَ حَدِيثًا فِي ا َمرِ دِينِهَا بَعَثَهُ اللهُ َفِقيهًا وَ كُنتُ لَه يَومَ الِقيَامَةِ شَاهِدًا وَشَِهيدًا (ترمذي) 

Whoever collects forty hadiths for the sake of my religion (collects or memorizes them and transmits them to other people), Allah will raise him as a jurist on the Day of Resurrection, I will intercede for him and I will be his witness.

Forty Prophetic Hadiths

1	Acceptance of actions depends on the intention.		اِنَّمَاالاَعٌمَالُ بِالنِّيَاتِ (بخاري اومسلم)
2	Whoever wants to increase his sustenance and increase his age, he should take care of his family.		مَن اَحَبَّ اَن يُبسَطَ لَه فِي ِرزقِه وَيُنسَا لَه فِي اَثَر ِه فَليَصِل رَحِمَه (متفقٌ عليه )
3	If a man loses his camel in a desert and finds it, how happy he will be - but more than that, Allah will be pleased with the repentance of His servant.		اَلله ُ اَفرَحُ ِبتَوبَةِ عَبدِه مِن اَحَدِكَم سقَط َ عَلي بَعِيره وَ قَد اَ ضَلَّه فِي اَرِض فَلاةٍ (بخاري مسلم).
4	The deceivers are not of us.		مَنٌ غَشَّ فَلَيٌسَ مِنَّا (مسلم)
5	Those who work hard for the needy are like the Mujahideen for the sake of Allah and in another tradition they have the same reward as fasting during the day and worshiping at night.		السَاعي عَلي الاَرملة وَ المِسكين كَالمُجَاهِد فِي سَبِيل الله وَفِي رَوَاية او كَالذي يَصوم النَهَار ويَقوم الليل (بخاري مسلم).
6	Gossip is worse than adultery.		الغَيبَة ُ اَشَدُّ مِّنَ الِزّناَ (مشکوة )
7	Eyes adultery is looking at the ungodly.		زنَا الٌعَيٌنِ النَّظَرُ (مشکوة)
8	He will not enter Paradise unless his neighbors are safe from his harm.		لاَيَدٌخُلُ الٌجَنَّةُ مَن لاَّ يّأمَنُ جَارُه بَواَءقَة (مسلم )
9	Anything that makes someone unconscious is haraam.		کُلُ مَسٌکِر ٍحَرَام (ابوداؤد)
10	The key for paradise is prayer and the key for prayer is ablution.		ِمفتاحُ الجَّنةِ الصَّلوةُ وَمفتَاحُ الصَّلوةِ الطَّهُورُ (ترمذي).
11	Brushing the teeth cleanses the mouth and makes Allah (swt) happy.		السِّوَاكُ مُطَهِّرَةُ لِّلفَِم وَ مَرٌضَاةُ لِلِرّبِّ (نسايي) .
12	The best deed is to make friendship for  Allah (swt) and enmity is for Allah (swt).		اَفضَلُ الَاعمَاِل اَلحُبُّ فِي اللهِ وَالبُعضُ فِي اللهِ (ابوداؤد)
13	Whoever builds a mosque for God, God will make a place for him in heaven.		مَن بَنَا ِللهِ مَسجِداً بَنَي اللهُ لَهُ بَيتًا فِي الجَنَّةِ (بخاري مسلم ).
14	Everyone's pants that Below the feet, that part of the body will go to hell.		مَآ اَسفَلَ مِن الكَعبَين مِن الِازَاِرفِي النَّاِر(بخاري اومسلم).
15	Beware of jealousy and hatred because jealousy and hatred consume human goodness like fire consumes wood.		ِايَّاكُم وَالحَسَدَ يَأكُلُ الحَسَنَاتَ كَمَاتَأكُلُ النَّارُ الحَطَبَ (ابوداؤد).
16	To a Muslim it is a sin to speak unjustly and to kill unjustly is tantamount to disbelief.		سَبَابُ المُسلِِمِ فِسقٌ وَّقِتَالُه كُفرٌ (بخاري مسلم)
17	Have mercy on the creatures of the earth, He who is in the heavens will have mercy on you.		اِرحَمُوامَن ِفي الاَرِض يَرحَمُكُم مَّن فِي السَّمَآءِ (ترمذي ابوداؤد).
18	Exhorts the dead at the time of Zankandan in the word La ilaha illa Allah.		لَِقّينُوا مَوتَاكُم لآاِلهَ اِلَّاالله (مسلم)
19	None of you can be a perfect believer unless you love me.		لَايُؤمِنُ اَحَدُكُم حَتيّ\' اَكُونَ اَحَبّ اِلَيه مِن وَّالِدِه وَوَلَدِه وَالنَّاِس اَجمَعِينَ (بخاري مسلم ).
20	Live like a traveler in the world.		كُن فِي الدَّنيَا كَاَنَّكَ غَِريبٌ اوَعَابِِرِسَبِيلٍ (بخاري) .
21	There is no deed more pure than the remembrance of Allah, who can save you from the torment of the grave.		مَاعَمِلَ آدمُّي عَمَلا ً اَنجي\' لَهٌ مِن عَذَابِ القَبِر مِن ذِكِرالله
22	The best remembrance of Allah is La ilaha illallah and the best supplication is Alhamdulillah.		اَفضَلُ الذِّّكر لاَاله اِلاالله وَاَفضَلُ الدُّعآءِ الحَمدالله .ِ(ترمذي).
23	On the Day of Resurrection, there will be no intercessor in the sight of Allah other than the Holy Qur'an, no prophet, no angel and no one else.		مَامِن شَفِيعٍ اَفَضلُ مَنزِلَة ً عِندَاللهِ يَومَ القِيمَة غَيِره مِن القُرآنِ لاَنَبِيُّ وَلا مَلَكٌ وَلاَ ُ
24	I would like to tell a few young people to collect a lot of firewood and then I will go to the people who are praying in their houses without any excuse and burn their houses.		لَقَد هَمَمتُ اَن آمُرَ فِتيَتِي فَجَمعُوالِي حُزَماً مِّن حَطَبٍ ثُمَّ آتِي قَوماً يُّصَلُّونَ فِِي بُيُوتِهِم لَيسَت بِهِم عِلَّة ٌ فَاُحَرِقُهَا عَلَيهِم .
25	There are seven people whom Allah will place in the shadow of His mercy on a day when there will be no shadow except His shadow. 1- King of justice 2- A young person who worships Allah in his youth 3- One who is attached to the mosque of his heart. 4- The two people who love each other for the sake of Allah (swt) are both united in it and separated in it. 5- A person who turns his attention to a beautiful woman and tells her that he fear Allah. 6- A person who gives charity in such a secret way that no one else knows about it 7- A person who remembers Allaah in solitude and sheds tears (or weeps in fear of remembering his sins in secret, or weeps secretly when he remembers out of love and affection).		سَبعَة ٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللهُ فِي ظِلِّه يَومَ لاَ ظِلَّ اِلا َّ ظِلُّه اَلاِمَامُ العَادِلُ وَالشَّآبُّ نَشَآءَ فِي عِبَادَةِ اللهِ وَرَجُلٌ قَلبُه مُعَلّقٌ بِاالمَسَاجِدِ وَ رَجُلاَن ِ تَحَآبَّا فَي اللهِ اِجتَمَعَا عَلي ذ\'لِكَ وَ تَفَرَّقَا عَلَيهِ وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتهُ اَمرَاةٌ ذَاتُ مَنصَبٍ وَّ جَمَالٍ فَقَالَ اِنِّي اَخَافُ الله وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَاَخفَاهَا حَتّي\' لاَتَعلَمُ شِمَالُه مَا تُنفِقُ يَمِينُه وَرَجُلُ ذَكَرَاللهَ خَالِيًا فَضَاخَتُ عَينا هُ.(بخاري او مسلم)
26	Heaven is under the feet of mothers.		َلجَنَّة ُ تَحتَ اَقدَاِم الا ُ مَّهَاتِ (مسلم).
27	The one who kept his mouth shut succeeded.		مَنٌ صَمَتَ نَجا َ (ترمذي)
28	A believer is not one who is not trustworthy and a believer is not one who does not keep his promise (Faith mean perfect faith).		لَآ اِيمَانَ لِمَن لآ َّ اَمَانَةَ لَه ُ وَلاَ دِينَ لِمَن لا َّ عَهدَ لَه ُ (بيهقي ).
29	The deceiver, Greedy man And the one who put Ehsan to someone else He will not enter Paradise.		لا َ يَدخُلُ الجَنَّة َ خِبٌ وَّ لا َ بَخِيلٌ وَّ لا َ مَنَّانٌ (ترمذي).
30	There are three signs of hypocrisy when he speaks, he lies and when he does not keep his promises and betrays his trust.		ا\'يَة ُ المَنَافِق ِ ثَلثٌ اِذَاحَدَثَ كَذَبَ اِذَا وَعَدَ اَخلَفَ وَاِذَا أتُمِنَ خَانَ (بخاري مسلم).
31	My ummah will be called on the Day of Resurrection while their ablution area will be shining.		اِنَّ ا ُمََّتِي يُدعَونَ يَومَ القِيمَةِ غُرًّا مَّحَجَّلِينَ مِن آثَاِر الوُضُوءِ (بخاري ومسلم ).
32	For those joints that remain dry in the ablution, there is the torment of the whale (any joint or part of the feet, hands or other place that remains dry in the ablution).		وَيلٌ لِّلا َ عقَابِ مِنَ النَّاِر اَسِبغُواالوُضُوءَ .
33	Worshiping Allah in times of hardship is as virtuous as having migrated with me.		اَلعِبَادَة ُ فِي الهَرِج كَهِجرَةٍ ِالَيَّ (مسلم)
34	Whoever wants to save Allah on the Day of Resurrection from hardship, he should either give respite to the debtor or forgive his debt altogether.		َمن سَرَّه اَن يُنَجِّيه اللهُ ِمن كُرَبَ يَومِ القِيَامَةِ فَليُنَفِّس عَن مُعسِر ٍ اَويَضَعَ عَنهُ (مسلم)
35	The believer's stomach is not filled with goodness until he reaches heaven.		لَن يَشبَعَ مُؤِمنٌ ِمن خَير ٍ حَتّي يَكُونَ مُتهَاهُ الجَنَّة َ (ترمذي)
36	For the sake of Allah Mujahideen, the Almighty has prepared a hundred degrees in Paradise. The distance between the two degrees is equal to the distance between the heavens and the earth.		ِان فِي الجَنََّةِ مِاءَةَ دَرَجَةٍ اَعَدَّ هَا اللهُ لِلمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي سَبِسل ِ اللهِ مَابَينَ الدَّرَجَتَين ِ كَمَا بَينَ السَّمآءِ وَالاَرض ِ(بخاري).
37	There are two kinds of eyes that will not touch the fire of Hell, the one that cries out in fear of Allah and the other is the eye that stays awake for the sake of Allah.		عَينَاِن لاَ تَمَسُّهُمَا النَّارُ عَينُ بَكَت مِن خَشيَةِ اللهِ وَعَينُ بَاتَت تَحرُسُ فِي سَبِيل اللهِ (ترمذي).
38	If a Muslim prays for another Muslim behind his back, the angels will say that this prayer will be accepted for you as well.		مَامِن عَبدٍ مُسلِم ٍ يَدعُوا ِلاَخِيه بِظَهر ٍ الغَيبِ اِلا َّ قَالَ المَلَكُ وَلَكَ بِمِثل ٍ (مسلم).
39	Those who go out seeking knowledge until they return will be counted as travelers for the sake of Allah.		مَن خَرَجَ فِي طَلَبَ العِلمِ فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيل اللهِ حَتي يَرجِع (ترمذي).
40	Whoever guarantees me the protection of his tongue and private parts, I guarantee him Paradise.		مَن يَضمَن لِي مَابَينَ لَحيَيهِ وَمَا بَينَ ِرجلَيهِ اَضمَن لَهُ الجَنَّةَ (متفقٌ عليه )
