At least 14 people have been killed and three others injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan's central province of Daikundi, local officials say. The dead included 7 women, 5 children and 2 men and 3 children were injured.
The blast took place in the village of Suleimanabad on Tuesday (September 29) morning, officials said. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, but the group has not yet commented.
Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Areen said 15 civilians had been killed.
He blamed the Taliban, like local officials, on Twitter:
"This shows the continuation of the Taliban's crimes against the people. In the last six months, these groups have killed and injured nearly 3,500 of our civilians in terrorist attacks."

Kajran, like some other districts in Daikundi, borders the restive Helmand province, where the Taliban are sometimes active.
Meanwhile, local officials in Ghazni said three people were injured in a mortar attack on a house in Ghazni's Nawababad district.
Local officials have blamed the Taliban for the attack, but the group has not yet commented.
Although the number of explosions has dropped dramatically in recent months, there has been an increase in targeted attacks and surveillance, including in Kabul and some other provinces.
