Interview with Gulbuddin Hekmatyar
Hezb-e-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar has said that President Ashraf Ghani had promised political leaders that he would resign and hand over power peacefully to a replacement. Left the country.

China and Russia maintain their embassies in Kabul
While the United States and its allies have closed their embassies in Kabul, China and Russia have announced that they will keep their embassies active.
China has told its citizens in Afghanistan to stay at home, but has assured that it has talked to various parties in Afghanistan about the security of its people.
Russia's foreign ministry also told state media on Sunday that it had no plans to close its embassy in Kabul.

Reports of shootings at Kabul airport have been received
A number of international and Afghan media outlets have reported that a number of people were killed and several others injured in a shooting at Kabul airport on Monday morning.
There is also a video on social media showing the bodies of four people lying on the ground and several others running.
It was not immediately clear who caused the deaths, but the US embassy acknowledged that its forces had only fired in the air to disperse the crowd.
