Actually, Holi of Shahjahanpur in UP is very much in the headlines. Celebrating Holi, a procession is taken out here, in which the effigy of Lat Saheb (officer of the British rule) is seated in a bullock cart and showered shoes on it.
According to the news agency PTI, the administration has made special preparations for this procession. On the way to the procession where mosques fall, security has been increased around them and monitoring is being done in every way.
According to Shahjahanpur SP Sanjay Kumar, the mosques falling in the procession path are being covered with plastic sheets. So that no person throws colors on them during the procession, so that the atmosphere becomes deteriorated. According to the SP, some mosques have been covered while all will be covered before March 28.
