The number of coronaviruses registered in Afghanistan has risen to nearly 39,000, and the death toll from the virus has risen to about 1500.
The Afghan Ministry of Health says there are concerns about a second wave of corona virus spreading from the western provinces. To this end, the Acting Minister of Public Health accompanied a delegation to Ghor, Badghis and Herat provinces and met with local officials to discuss ways to stem the tide.
Health ministry officials also say that no positive cases of the corona virus have been reported in students since the school reopened about a month ago.
On the other hand, the World Health Organization has warned that the corona epidemic is still a threat and countries need to do more to prevent it.
Dr Mike Ryan, the organisation's head of emergency services, said preparations should be made to fight the disease next winter.
He made the remarks at a time when many countries have announced restrictions on the second wave of the corona virus.
At the same time, the World Health Organization's Emergency Management Agency in Afghanistan says the coronavirus in Afghanistan is not getting the attention it deserves and may increase the number of cases. There is even a second-round fear.
